I am a director and founder (with Charles Rifkind) of the Visitors’ Arts Foundation. We have been campaigning for a London-wide hotel tax to provide additional funding for free entry museums, galleries, libraries and parks. We have had numerous meetings with the Mayor’s Office, Hotel Groups and Museums & Galleries. We hope this scheme will become a reality before too long.
